my humble Cubo build

Been working all weekend on my Cubo15s and thought I'd get some pics up. My only experience with woodworking is building car sub boxes... and all those were just simple sealed rectangular enclosures. Luckily, my grandfather lives next door and has every tool known to man (plus a few he made :lol: ). I always love looking at other people's builds, so I took lots of pictures too.

Getting the plans all laid out and starting to make pieces.

I bought these metal handles and wanted to sit them recessed into the wood. I made up this jig so all four handles would be the same.









Cut the hole and test fit the speaker to mark for the holes and insert the T-nuts

Started putting everything together today! This is as far as I made it. I haven't attached the final side yet, I'm going to let the glue dry til tomorrow and go back and make sure everything is caulked up.

With a good sand and some radiusing,(is that a word,) they will be fine, black paint will be even better, but of course, you know that already.

Finally had a dry day so I got outside to test them. They make the whole house rattle so I wasn't able to run it too loud inside. My neighbor had to come over to find out what the nose was about haha.
