You don't need a kick bin with a short hybrid horn. MHB-46 makes bass and strong kick.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY BUT NY MAIN REASON FOR ASKING IS THAT I ALREADY HAVE 8 DYNACOUSTIC L30 A SIMILAR DESIGN TO THE ES18BPH WAS PLANNING ON BUILDING SOME MHB-46 AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY WOULD WORK TOGETHER IN ONE STACK OR WOULD THERE BE CANCELLATION OR PHASE PROBLEMS...ITS FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS AND ON TRUCK

Don't mix differents designs in the same frequency range, you will have cancellations, it is inevitable. Same rule for all differents designs.

ok then can the es18 be compared to the mhb-46 performance wise...is it as loud like say 50hz whats the big difference in those two box.....is the mhb-46 much better can i get rid of the es18 and build mhb-46 or does the difference is not that big.....i will be using them mainly outdoor

In all cases, it will never be perfect.so there is nothing i can do to make the mhb-46 work with the es18....
One is Band Pass Horn (ES18), and other is Hybrid, Horn + Reflex (MHB-46). The MHB-46 goes lower with higher level/sensitivity.whats the big difference in those two box

to me should have more sense a pure horn sub with a separate kick section.
There are a bunch of plans available, senpai amano shared a lot of good concept IMHO.
