i own about 10 of them from the rmx 850, 1450, 2450 and 1 of the 5050. I find they sound very good for tops and mids, not so good for base and sub base, but at the price you can pick them up well worth it. you can get the 850 for around £150, the 1450 for about £200 to £350, and the 2450 from £250 to £400 depending on condition. If you want 400 watts per channel then the 1450 is the one to look at 4ohms.....

Well, got the purchasing eyes, last night I bought a QSC RMX 2450 ,

750W into 4 Ohm per channel. I was reading a lot about sizing of the amp for speakers and the general consensus was the amp should be roughly 1.5 - 2 times as powerful as the RMS rating of the speakers, so if I'm gonna build MT130's that's approx 380W a channel @ 4ohm, so I figured this amp should suffice!! On that note has anyone got any recomendations for passive crossovers? or do you build your own with a 1st order / 2nd order pad?

many thanks.
