Hi there. Thought I'd kick this section off by saying for those of you who don't know, I do quite a lot of repair work on sound and lighting kit, especially the older popular amps (Crests, Crowns etc) but I'll give anything a go.
I'm based in Southampton so you can post it, courier it, deliver it or arrange for me to collect/deliver at cost if necessary.
Labour is normally charged at £25/hr with a minimum charge of one hour per item (covers the time taken to get it on the bench and test it). For example, a basic amp service (clean and test) would be one hours work and £25. I'm not out to rip anyone off, earn a sensible amount of money for my time/equipment.
Any questions just ask.
Chris

Hi there,
Have you repaired the old QSC 3K family ?
E.g
Qsc Mx3000/Mx3000a,
EX4000
JBL MPA1100,
JBL MPX1200?
Are parts easily obtainable for repairing these?
On the the verge of undoing purse strings..

I haven't repaired that series because I've never seen a broken one but I don't expect them to be too difficult, probably use standard parts.
