Behringer FBQ2496 Feedback Destroyer - Does it Work?
Can it automatically detect and notch out feedback caused by muppets to close to the Stack ?

Or is it better to get RTA Solution + graphic eq channel per mic ?

I have wondered this too... Supposed to be super quick processing... What are "servo balanced outputs"

Watched few training vids on youtube, and seems some FOH engineers don't agree with eq'ing down on main mix to sort feedback..

Might get berry unit just for the rta, and stick it just before DCX.

Then put 1x channel of 1/3 octave graphic per mic... Apparently this is a grown up way of doing it...

Luckily, usually stuff I do is 2x mics max, MCs as opposed to artists..

ive used this unit a few times. smiley20 does what it says on the box........ i have never had any issues, and no noticable differance to the overall sound quality..... i have only used it for small 2 man band etc, upstairs in hennessys, when we have set them up on the dance floor area, right under the main speakers........

Yes levyte it does work it has an automatic detection mode by pressing the learn button for a while and then it sends random tones to detect and notch out feedback which is a quicker and easier way to start, mics must be in place and turned on. the hookup will be just as Rog explained which is normally in the mons mix,in the light of "muppets to close to the Stack" no fancy equipment will help you with that ,that has to b monitored and dealt with by the engineers on spot.
