Its not gonna happen! No one has them who posts on here now!

The ones i measured arent the exact plans anyway, just an aproximation! (and my mate lost the plans for them)

Simply work them out like i did, or when i come to do another 2/4 i'll have to measure mine up to build more and i'll post it then

can someone PLEASE post or PM me the dimensions of this cab as i would really like to build 4 for on top my wsx's,
they crossover to my tops perfectly, well done on the design of these boxes.

I have changed computers since deadbeat sent it to me, and i never managed to open it while i had it, i think that deadbeat & simonr are the only people with the plans...

They have been built for ages, my friends had 2, and have completed a second pair a couple of weeks ago. im glad to have measured them actually and they are pretty similar to the plots so im happy, it would be nice to get an efficiency reading on them but i already know they are loud!!

I always liked this design, very happy to see it built. The plots are promising, I would love to hear them someday.
Anyone is in contact with Simonr? His 1x18 design looked great too.

as jake said we did try several mic positions - i agree that a kick cab would often be raised from the ground, so we did try one measurement with the mic raised right up , but the only real change was below the 80hz anyway - or the change would have been in SPL, but we werent interested in SPL.

will find group delay graphs

we also tried a measurement with the mic as close to the ground as possible, but not touching.

Saul came round mine today, and brought a measurment mic and RTA software.
We measured a pair of simonr (ish) kick bins, the main aim was to see how the kick bins played compared to simulation. Im sure Saul can post the software and mic details later.

Important to bear in mind; i had a multimeter across the inputs to the cabs reading 2.8v (or 2v for the 4r) on the sweeps, but the mic wasnt calibrated so the SPL appears to be a tad high. But the offset should be consistant, so you can see the flatness of responce and the gain with 2 bins.

These are slightly different to simonr's design.

Heres some pics;
1 kick bin 1 watt, not calibrated remember

Not a bad plot for 1 kick bin, considering its supposed to be used from 80 - 180Hz

2 kicks 1 watt, not cal'd remember

2 gets alot smoother, even down to 70 now, but i think excursion at high powers still limits them to 80Hz.

PM me and I'll send them again, they're .tcw s (TurboCAD) but I can save them as .dxf or .pdf or whatever you use.

I dunno where he's at, suspect he's working on his V2. Will try to find the old CADs for you.

Have you possibly got a plan with measurments you could send me as a jpeg?
I think you sent me the cad file a long time ago but i couldnt open it, also i have a new computer now so its (almost) lost in hordes of backed up documents somewhere.

Cheers deadbeat, my mate has 2 already after i approximated the design, but i wouldnt mind the proper plans.

I hope Simons alright...?

I drew up the plans myself and my mates built 2, quite a while ago actually, they are amazingly loud.
