David wrote: hey
first...i never said i was an expert.actrually i told i'm not.
second, yes, i was asking in speakerplans about amps and boxes and drivers. i was a newbie. u wrote your advice.
i found out that your advices were WRONG
so you tried to help, thanks, but the thing is that 4 x 18tbx100 outplayed 6 x pd1850 with void infinite8!!!(same preamp and same stuff played)
ffa10000 is absolutely fine at 2 ohm, dub music for 12 hours.
it sounds great. so if you buy china lightweights for 300euros that can be a problem, but i cant see anything wrong with bigger powersoft, lab, ffa.
i've heard most scoops designs, the hog is the best diy design by miles.

third...u are the only one who can rant about things...and u like to have the last word

grow up...and have a session

should be nice to listen an hog with b&c 18sw115 facing some classic combo, like emi+pd or super+pd over the same console and tune.

it's a good cab, don't get me wrong.BUT! it don't sound like a scoop, more a FLH, not a bad thing. Just not suited for reggae

personally i felt it was a bit weak, played way to low where there was no music notes present, wasted box imo
