USB's was created by high range
hi everyone, i built two usb but the bass sounds much louder at both sides of the cab instead of in front. i've double checked my wiring and all drivers are in phase. any advice??

I have the same problem. Very iretating though. Unfortunately i do not have a cure. Thought of having the speakers face one another, but scared i will destroy something. Somebody did tell me once that the bass bins should be on a corner as bass doesnt worry about direction or stereo. Still want to try it one day if i play at the right place. Allso, a bass bin must be against the wall to get full effect of the sound. Any take on this? Anyone?

yes by corner loading your bass bins will help give a little more spl and a low response.... Ive allso seen people aim there bass cabs at a wall to extend low response...... as for the usb sounding louder from the side, this beats me why..... im sure there must be a fair few people running usb's......

could it be the side panels resonating? might need a bit more bracing possibly?

carnt think of any other reason?????

jus a little update. i've built another USB and loaded the three cabs with new omega's and they sound great nw. no side problms anymore. guess my old drivers were the problem

blast king. i dnt think they are that well recognised. ever heard of them?
physically they look almost identical to the eminence bt can find any specs for them. just wats on the label....120oz magnet, 1250 watts, 8 ohms

how much is enough? i dont run usbs, but they were designed as a stand alone in stacks, i seem to rember 50ish hz...
