Berry Ultradrive or this.....? was created by sukebe
i know that quite a few people use the Berry ultradrive as a budget LMS/crossover and from the post etc that ive read, they perform alright for the money.
But wondering if anyone knows anything about these BBE LMS units
www.bbesound.com/products/LMS/DS26/index.asp
a little bit more money, but still cheap as. Just wondering if they worth it?
Thanks

Looks very much like it's made by Digisynthetic who also did the original (Black) Void Digidrive. Not exactly the same but I expect there isn't much difference. I've got two and am very happy with the sound quality.

Looks like that might be the unit that NCA are using as their base then:

The NCA units are built in England..Linea Research.

Have a look at the white paper on that page. Interesting reading that I have never got round to actually trying out ( must remember to re-write all my pre-sets!).

That would explain why the Audient One has a very similar looking user interface, albeit in a different front panel arrangement. We had one on trial until recently and I can't say there was anything particularly outstanding about it compared to the Behringer.

Just had a look at that white paper - interesting. The steepest slope which the Behringer will do on an input EQ is 12dB/oct, but that should be sufficient. I'll try it next time I get my rig out to play with it!
